The Summer of Freddy vs Jason won't work without Freddy, obviously.. so let's jump right into A Nightmare on Elm Street and introduce the guy! Freddy Kruger is notable as while he had a mundane origin similar to Jason before going supernatural, our introduction to the guy is very much post supernatural (blog post) transformation. He's a snarky serial killer who torments children in their (blog) dreams, toying with them while (blog post) performing vertical unanesthetized street surgery.
